The Rainbow Club is starting up in December! Rainbow Club is a safe, nurturing place for students to explore their identities. Identity includes the qualities, beliefs, personality traits, appearance, and/or expressions that characterize a person or group. All 4th and/or 5th-grade students are welcome!
The Rainbow Club is an optional club that will take place during 4th and 5th-grade lunch and recess. It will be a student-run club, meaning students will determine the programming and topics covered based on their interests and experiences. Emily Russen (School Counselor), Alex Ryder (Wellness Coordinator) and Jill Everett (School Counselor) will facilitate these meetings. Prior to this club starting, the upper grades (4th and 5th) will engage in learning around inclusion of all identities.
